How evasive. It is already out in the public and there is no disclosure covering your ass when you behave like a superior imbecile. Pathetic.

The MEC’s office said in response to questions: “The meeting referred to in your enquiry was a confidential meeting between the MEC and Executive staff members of the department of which the MEC respects confidentiality thereof.”

Her office appeared to deny that any undue pressure was brought to bear on staff.

“At no stage in any meeting with her staff did the MEC give unlawful instructions except to stress the importance of meeting targets and fulfilling promises made to communities as part of service delivery and improving the lives of the people of Gauteng.”

After threatening to force senior staffers to resign, the MEC’s tirade then becomes racially charged as she chastises two senior staffers – an Indian woman and a white woman – for speaking back at her.

No,

“That’s why some departments, they don’t want to see a white woman or any Indian woman! It’s not about racism, it’s because you like talking English!”

it is because you think that you are better, also nepotism and cronyism.

The Citizen is the only publication which has picked up on the story reported by amaBhungane,

we need more amaBhungane's. Less sensation, more truth.

They problem she is going to have is this.. the IEC will now have to investigate the matter if taken up by one of the political parties and there will be repercussions for the ANC as a result. Question is which party is gonna refer this to the IEC

Nothing will happen. The IEC will simply task the matter to be taken up with the Electoral Court to listen to the dispute. This court is usually very busy around this time, close to the elections, and I doubt that they will see the urgency in this matter, never mind that there will be a review, appeals and interpretation section and whether these are cases should be heard by the ordinary courts. By the time there is any ruling, and whether there will be a ruling the elections will already be concluded.

The DA is already, possibly, in the process to take the ANC to the Electoral Court,

ANC COULD FACE ELECTORAL COURT AFTER DA LODGES COMPLAINT OVER BOSASA DONATION

The IEC has confirmed receiving a complaint from the Democratic Alliance that the ruling party was granted funds by Bosasa to set up an elections war room in previous elections.

JOHANNESBURG - The African National Congress (ANC) could find itself in hot water if an investigation involving a R6 million donation from scandal-plagued Bosasa is escalated to the Electoral Court.

The IEC has confirmed receiving a complaint from the Democratic Alliance (DA) that the ruling party was granted funds by Bosasa to set up an elections war room in previous elections.

The matter is currently being investigated by the directorate of electoral offences.

The DA lodged a complaint with the IEC indicating that the donation to set up the war room at Bosasa headquarters in Krugersdorp is in contravention of the electoral code of conduct.

IEC deputy CEO Masego Shiburi says their lawyers are probing the merits of the case.

The commission says that political parties that break the electoral code could be sanctioned and even face imprisonment of between five and 10 years.

...

I honestly don't see the IEC or the Electoral Court take action against the ANC. There will be appeals and postponements until it is dropped cold or a recommendation is made that the ANC should resolve the matter, a-hem, internally.

How does this IEC thing work? Can you take anything to the IEC now that we are in the election period?

I suppose it's my turn to spout the mybb's usual "If a white person said this they'd be call racist."
I would term her behaviour as a "powerist" - if there is such a word. Completely drunk on power that she has as a minister.
