Galaxy S23 Ultra to feature "smallest appearance change in Samsung's history"

Information from a leaker suggests that Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S23 Ultra’s design will remain “almost unchanged” from its predecessor, the S22 Ultra, Wccf Tech reported.

“Judging from the body size and volume data, this is the flagship mobile phone with the smallest appearance change in Samsung’s history,” industry leaker Ice Universe said.

They are referring to the design not actual size, small changes to the look of the device

And there is no real change between either of them, size wise either. I need a smaller size phone, as one that sticks out off your pocket, will get stolen so fast you will not see it disappear. Job requires I visit some rather rough areas.

Don't mind the large form factor, but cannot loose a phone every 3 or so weeks, either.

Smaller phone I can protect a lot better, in my jeans pocket.

Would that not be the Flip generation of phones?

Android users when Apple sticks to a similar design year-on-year (for a while): Lolz...no imagination. What a crock. So bad that design.

Android users when Samsung sticks to a similar design: That's right. That design works. Don't change something that works. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it".

They fold small, but easily double the thickness - makes it very difficult to get out of pocket of not too tight jeans. But might end up being the only other option.

Ice Universe: the Galaxy S23 series will have basically the same dimensions, unchanged screen stats

A couple of weeks ago Ice Universe reported that the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra design will remain basically the same and that the dimensions will differ by fractions of a millimeter. Now the leakster has published more detailed data, including the screen size, resolution and dimensions for the entire S23 family.

Long story short, the display diagonal and resolution for all three models remain the same, while the height and width will grow by a few tenths of a millimeter. There is no word on weight, but it should be mostly the same as on this year’s S-series.

Android fans when the latest iPhone is released: Lolz...so expensive! Sheep! They don't have any other design! Same-old, same-old!

Same Android fans when the latest Samsung is pretty much the same: Much wonder, so wow. It looks awesome (let's forget it's now more expensive than an iPhone). Samsung are doing absolute wonders with this latest edition.

...in jest.
