Leased lines

hi guys

i know there was a post up about a normal adsl line or leased, but what is the difference??

speed?
We are soon going to have IP cams set up national and viewing them here.
is unshaped better??
because we have 1.3mbps (cant get 4mbps apparently!?!?!)
and video on skype overseas lags, this is prob because of SA's bandwith, im with Webafrica (SAIX)

WHAT MUST I DO?!?!?!?!

leased is a dedicated point to point link - doesn't imply internet. But you can get a leased line to your ISP for internet.

They tend to be more expensive than ADSL, depending on your usage. On a 64k leased line you can push a good 45 GB a month, more if you're lucky.
