i signed up in February this year, and the speed was great! However, as everybody knows, the past couple of months average connections have slower than a normal dail-up!

I know it is a 24 month contract, but can anyone give me some legal advise on this? Is there any way for me to get out of this contract, cause I can hardly get anything done on this supposedly "high speed" connection!

A friend of mine got the 512 package a few months ago for their residence at the University of Pretoria, and got it cancelled after a few fights with sentech, because the connections weren't as fast as promised. I would just like to know the legal side to this![?]

Thanks!!

If you want to cancel, phone them up tell them you want to cancel and don't take no for an answer.

Contacts: Casper Cassidy, Winston Smith at Sentech head office.

Better do it before the network gets "fixed". In terms of the contract you can't cancel unless you go insolvent. But if you kick up enough fuss and refuse to accept no then they'll fold rather than risk further unpleasantness.

If all else fails, try the "Shawshank Redemption" approach: they guy in jail just kept writing letters every day until he got his library books. It's a good movie to watch.

And just like Shawshank Redemption you have to crawl through 500 yards of raw sewage to get out [;)]
