Hi Chaps

My dad is trying to convince me to join legalwise as he had a issue resolved with them long time ago. I'm abit sceptic as i see on Hellopeter the amount of complaints about them. I am in 2 minds now about joining them. Is the R70 for Gold or R100 for Gold Plus worth it every month or am i wasting my money.

Is there anyone else you guys can recommend for a decent fee each month.

IMHO If you are in the habit of suing people then these types of services may be the way to go especially if you have a hard time expressing yourself or getting your point across however if you need a lawyer once in a blue moon rather just invest the cash and spend it on a decent lawyer.

Hi ever heard of a company called LIPCO. They have some nice products and they try to mediate legal problems you may have before just going to court. We all know how long a court battle can last. Check them on facebook, also saw on hellopeter they have a low response rate. Also checked that they have less exclusions

In my opinion a waste of money.

Rather make good friends with a good lawyer and go play golf with him as often as possible. You will still end up paying but you will have somebody with your personal interest at heart/mind. At Legal Wise you are just another premium payer and when the chips are down you need somebody you can count on.

I started investigating this too and discovered a legal cover product that Santam sells:

https://www.santamlegal.co.za/

I can't vouch for it as I haven't signed up, but the product offering looks a lot better than Legalwise.

As in now/urgently? Watch out for any possible "waiting periods" and exclusions that they might enforce.
