Is there any online service one can subscribe to or even just pay per movie to watch typical Hollywood block busters? I don't mean things 10 years and older like you find on Netflix or DSTV Box Office. Or even then, for some reason things like the Star Wars movies, Lord of the Rings, Fast and Furious or anything vaguely well known seems unobtainable legally.

I pay my taxes, do not torrent, don't, abuse alcohol and rarely kick the dog. I just want to watch a mainstream movie from home without buying it on Blue-ray disc (rare to find anyway) - is this possible in SA?

Apple TV? Most movies are available to rent. R35 - R45 to rent a 4K film for 48 hours. iTunes if you don’t have an Apple TV box or a smart TV that supports the app.

Not on my Netflix. What am I doing wrong then?

The Netflix app seems to do a general web search for my search phrase "star wars" and shows all the title names matched you you can see in the bottom left. But the thumbnails on the right is what I actually can select - no actual star wars movie there.

I don't mind having to pay for a legit service, but I'm not going to jump through hoops for it. RegionGate it; then sorry for you loss as I'll just back up it from the seven seas.
It is not about paying for it. It is not getting it at all. Or having to pay you full salary for someone to make a quick buck.

Your full salary is R160? (netflix rate)

As I've said "RegionGate it; then sorry for you loss as I'll just back up it from the seven seas."

Google Play movies: https://play.google.com/store/movies

Been using it for years. And you can pay using your airtime too, if you don't want to use a card online.
