So my daughter had this desktop up until I got her a new laptop last year. The box was still standing around and I decided to hook it up to the tv instead of using the media player. It’s working fine and still in excellent condition, however at times I do feel it could do with some upgrading.
I plan on adding another 4gb ram and of course the SSD swap is a must (sad to have missed the recent makro special).
other than the above changes I don’t know what else can be done to this thing. I’ve tried searching but can’t seem to find out which graphics card will actually work. Maybe I just suck at searching.
Also keep in mind I’m very much an amateur so the only things I do are basically plug and play. If anything else is needed I google the hell out of anything and ask 120 friends before proceeding to ensure I don’t mess up. Also it won’t be used for any heavy gaming or editing etc. just some upgrades to make it a bit better.
