Lenovo Ideapad 100s-11IBY
Thanks for the feedback, appreciate itUnfortunately, that model has storage(& ram) soldered onto the main board, with no M.2 or SATA ports for upgrades.
Wonderful thanks will give that a tryWhile you can't change the existing storage you can augment it - jack a decent size (64 is specified by Lenovo but I've seen, on a Lenovo forum support thread that 128 works), qualitay SD card (id est don't cheap out here, you're already on a hiding to nothing as it is) in there, and then get Windows to recognise it as your main storage, which is a ...bit of an adventure but works, I did it for a client's Lenovo MIIX 320 device, which has fundamentally the same problem as you do here.
Oops, I see on the specs it can take microSDWonderful thanks will give that a try
Is it just a normal sd card, not microSD?
Well yes, micro, but get a good (as in fast write speed) one.Oops, I see on the specs it can take microSD![]()
