Hi guys

My first post.
I want to buy my wife a new laptop, I narrowed it down between these two laptops.

*Lenovo Ideapad-330s intel corei5 https://www.takealot.com/lenovo-ide...i5-fhd-14-notebook-platinum-grey/PLID52290243

*Asus Vivobook intel corei5 https://www.takealot.com/asus-vivobook-intel-core-i5-15-6-ultrabook-gold/PLID48674197

I'm honestly not sure which one to choose, both is 8th Gen i5's with 4GB of RAM upgradable. This is basically my budget (R11K)
Should I choose between these two or are there any other better alternatives out there I should be looking at?

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks!

If it's battery life you are after, do your homework. Asus loves to sell you the most horrible battery life possible in their laptops. Lenovo doesn't always fare that much better unless its a thinkpad.

From the 2 you linked the Asus is physically bigger. Takealot is known for bad descriptions, googling the Asus model shows it as only having a HD screen, the Lenovo a FHD
