Hi guys,

I have a problem and I cannot figure it out.

It is a Lenovo R50-80 notebook and Windows 10 media driver issue during installation. It asks for a driver but I cannot figure out which one it is.

I have tried the usual suspects, AHCI etc. but nothing moves it forward.

Anybody been here and done that?

Quick google indicates you might cave a corrupt iso image. Use the media creation tool instead maybe.
Also make sure your bios is up to date before installing win10 as per the lenovo support site.

Found that. Not the problem by the look of things... Still working on it... :)

Thanks!

Currently trying DISKPART to smoothe some kinks that the installation software cannot overcome on its own by the look of things... If it works I will share....

Turns out it is hardware failure. CPU or motherboard damaged. Impossible to install. Laptop will have to be replaced under warranty.

You have to be an IT professional to install windows nowadays. I'd have told you that by just looking at the led lights
