We have fiber coming to Onverwacht.

"Herotel has opted to construct a fiber network that is strung mostly along poles in the mid-block between homes, which is the preferred deployment methodology of large telecommunications companies like Verizon in the United States and British Telecoms in the UK. Putting the fiber optic cables in the air has numerous benefits to Lephalale residents: we can build your network faster and due to the cost-saving, we can offer you lower monthly prices for the same quality product.

During the roll-out in Lephalale, Herotel Xpress Limpopo is also offering an additional perk to homeowners. “Our team members, dressed in uniform, will be approaching residents to plant poles within the servitude on their property boundary line. In gratitude for allowing us to plant a pole in their backyard, we will be offering a limited special promotion to those residents who assist us first.” he says. "

Lets share our experience of them here.
If there is a rep of Herotel on this platform, please introduce yourself.

Edit: The image is Jeffreys Bay pricing, but also Herotel / Igen... so perhaps different pricing in Ellisras.

wow and their pricing are way out! R1699 you can get an 1G uncapped service from Vuma, crazy! i would rather lobby for an open access provider to come build, someone like Evotel or Vuma. at least you will have a choice of ISP and what you get to what you pay!
