LF: Hyundai Gas Lifters For Tucson

Apart from Hyundai themselves, does anybody know where I can get some of the gas lifter things that hold the boot open for an original model Tucson? I am in Durban and need these things like yesterday (tired of having a headache every time I walk away from the vehicle.

You can try Midas or Autozone. I got a set for my 2010 Ford Focus from Midas.

Most are generic and only differ in length and the wait they will support, so it will be best to have a sample with you because they might not necessarily have Tucson specific lifters but they could have ones that fits a Tucson.

Take a broom stick and cut it to a suitable length, voilà much cheaper.
