LG Optimus G Pro coming to SA

Well, it retails for over $700 in the US so it'll cost a pretty penny here :(

If anyone from LG is reading this. If you don't bring the Nexus 4 here you won't get any support from anyone who knows anything about Android.

Samsung brought the Galaxy Nexus here. Asus brought the Nexus 7. These companies get our support because they deserve it.

Are they just better at running this market than LG?... Yes they are at this point.

Is it up to LG to decide whether to bring the Nexus here or would it be a joint decision? I suppose Google just sell the Nexus 4,...

Sure, I know you can get it as a grey import from 1 or 2 suppliers but I wasn't referring to that.

No Google hardware store in SA.
Samsung made the call
Asus made the call

It's up to LG to make the call or get no market share because we boycott them, simple

LG actually wanted to, but the operators didn't want to offer the Nexus 4 if I can recall correctly.
Why offer it through the operators? They can offer it through their retail partners like Asus & Samsung does. Dion Wired, Incredible connection etc. Ag man look they're just full of excuses if they wanted to bring it they would, they're showing SA customers the middle finger that's why we give them the middle finger when we buy hardware.

What we should do is hurt the rest of their business like the TV(LED/LCD) division that's where they make the volumes we should stop buying LG Mobile devices and TV's until they bring the Nexus 4 to SA

I agree with that and I don't believe them blaming the SA operators. As my proof: anyone seen an Optimus G mentioned in the article available from any of the operators yet - September has come and gone? That, plus the fact that we have to wait till September this year for the G Pro proves that LG does not care about SA as a market.
