Life in the perfect SA

This forum is getting awfully quiet....being a bit bored at work I thought I would daydreaaaaaaam....

do you people know how boring life in SA would be if Telkom and Sentech existed as companies that cared about the people. Imagine for a moment that life in SA would be like in the USA, everybody will have cheap 3Mbps cable broadband, and because computers will be dirt cheap we will all have the fastest Pentium4 beast digesting the available bandwith. This forum would never have existed, TheRodent would never have become famous, and all you interesting people would just be boring happy people. If you ask me, having something to complain about is just freakin awesome, having something to fight for keeps us united and alive.

Maybe if we were a bit less lazy and had a culture of working on Fridays, we'd have better broadband in this country .. ... Americans work hard, the average American works 46 hours per week. Seriously though, if comparing broadband, I'd rather compare to Korea or Japan .. South Korea leads the world in affordable high-speed connectivity.
