Have a place along the Wild Coast, every xmas we try to take soccer balls and dolls for the local children in the area.
Space is a bit limited most of the time as we have 2x dogs and my 2yr old son and another boy on the way.

Most people throw sweets and such which seems rude, we pick a windy day and drive into rural area and give out old clothes, soccer balls and dolls.
I usually ask people at my work to donate what they can.
The one girl I gave a donated teddy bear to and her friend got my bafana bafana t-shirt , she hugged that thing so tight I thought it's eye's where going to pop out it's head.

I'll be taking stuff down in the June long weekend again.

People do the same in Mozambique with the sweets we tend to take pens, pencils, rulers, stickers, notepads etc.

You and your wife are extremely kind people! Is it not difficult to adopt a child? I always wanted to have 2 of my own children and then adopt a child and give that child a better life but I was always under the impression that its nearly impossible to adopt a child these days.
Yes it is bloody impossible, so we did not go the legal route. Instead we entered into agreements with their parents that they would not interfere. Barring a family member all the kids were already in high school. And it was one at a time!!!!

I don't boast about the nice things I've done for people. It's no one's business.

il be standing at the strand street robots soon ...come around

and to be honest i prefer to buy food for homeless and beggars

never know what they do with the money

It's their life, if they want to buy crack and get high, it's not my place to judge or dictate.

I drank a girl's roofie-filled glass before she could. I think the guy then tried to drag me home but gave up because my friends found me in the parking lot.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Did you wake up with a R2 coin in your hand? :D

I used to feed this gang of stray dogs that used to hang around where I live. They were vicious to others though... Was actually fun watching them harass people walking by...

I prefer to keep such things Private. There is great satisfaction in being anonymous.

Quote from title:
that no one knows about?
Giving a homeless person money = he/she know
punching kid in face in front of a cinema packed to the brim full of people = cinema full of people know
homeless christian woman doing exorcism = .....uh, don't know whats the "nice" part yet

but

guy in batman suit gives homeless person money = no-one knows who
letting a quiet, non smelly, fart go = no-one can tell (don't do me any favours though)

Each Christmas we as a family make up a really nice Christmas hamper and anonymously give it to a different family each year who does not have much for Christmas.
