It's unlikely Sunsynk actually makes it either.

It's probably a China OEM product, that Sunsynk have branded as Sunsynk, then Sunsynk has sold a distribution licence here to Ellies, who have also branded it.

Pretty darn common.

If you approach a factory making these sort of products, say - hey I want to order an MoQ of 1000 units, you can also do similar things. Get a little higher volume, and you can also start doing things like speccing out what you want in there.

The main work done I suspect is sourcing a decent product, doing QC on said product, and some light branding both ends. Good if you can get customers to make firm orders upfront.

If you're interested in this sort of thing, then start on alibaba, and look - eg

I usually approached that differently in China - I'd get the trade magazines, and read those to find export factories - removed the middlemen. Sunsynk is in HK, so they're in a good position for sourcing and factory visits for Shenzhen/ Guangzhou, where most of this sort of product is made.

Don't forget about costs for testing; as you'll need to make sure that the product meets relevant SANS standards. SANS requires specific testing labs now for certs, which makes costing higher.

Been there, done that...

None of that explains the Sunsynk Ellies partnership and the lifelynk branding.
