I'm actually surprised this has never been mentioned in the forums, considering it was released some years back.

What I really like about Scoop is that I can create a web-dev environment with it, using Apache/Nginx, MariaDB (or others) and PHP. And it's also wicked-cool that I can easily switch between multiple versions of Ruby and Node. The guys behind this are geniuses. I've literally removed all third-party nonsense in favour of this.

My thoughts exactly, I might actually now jump into node and start learning.
