Hi all

I'm new to i-burst and it would seem that I get this error "Limited or no connectivity" on my i-Burst connection when I connect.

Can someone help me to fix this problem ? :(

Thanx

It is a windows "bug"

Goto your network connections, find your iburst connection and open the properties page for that connection.

There you can uncheck the box which notifies you of Limited or no connectivity.

yes I had the same thing, its that effing SP2, with me it not only said limited or no connectivity but while it was trying to figure out my IP the connection worked and when it gave up trying to find it the connection didn't so I had a 2 minute window after connecting where I could actually do stuff, gah

you can also go into the properties of the iBurst terminal and set the ip address from "auto assign" to *ANY* ip address... and it will also solve the problem...

darkelf, the solution to your problem is to cancel your iBurst and go order ADSL, if you don't have ADSL in your area, use some of the cell phone technologies (GPRS, EDGE).

iBurst is useless, even if you connect! Dial-up will outperform it in any aspect!

As stated by Alchamy, this is a Windows XP thing, nothing to do with iBurst.

I donno If tenacy thing will work but I do know if you set the terminal to a static address - any static address it will go away --- say 6.1.1.1 subnet 255.255.255.0 other settings can be left.

It is a frequently asked question for everyone that has Windoze XP and a broadband connection [not just iBurst], and is [post=159870]mentioned in the FAQ thread...[/post]

Do this it will work...go to:
-Control Panel
-Internet Options
-Connections
-Settings
-Properties
-Advanced(in this window check the "Allow Other Network Users to connect through this computer and internet connection"
And after just apply it and ok and the little warning sign will dissapear...After that just check ur firewall to allow Generic 32 Host....
Thats all....

Nope, that's Internet Connection Sharing, just do what Alchamy already mentioned at the start of this thread and the problem will be solved 100% :).

WTF ic didn't attack me
I neva made those assumptions

I just gave an alternative solution (sometimes people want to see when they have limited or no connectivity with other connections besides iburst)

So I right click on the connection and click on properties. I can't do this last part on XP SP2
