I never troll. There's always a point to my comments.
Au contraire, you might be the most perfect troll specimen I have ever encountered. You are so desperate for attention that you tagged me in an unrelated thread even though I have hardly been around for the last 10 days, are you that bored?

A noble cause. I would make a pledge but I can't afford it anymore. I don't even donate to anyone anymore. Electricity alone costs me a small fortune. o_O

With all of the load shedding we have been having lately, your latest bill must be under R250

It's for the grant. We've has a 28 year old grandmother.
10 year olds know very little to nothing about sex. Given our rape stats, I'm leaning towards a huge percentage of these cases being result of rape, especially those under 14 years of age.

But her parents know they can get grant money for a grandchild. Even the social workers agree with me but are forbidden from saying so publicly if they want to keep their jobs.

You do realise child social grants buy a pack or 2 of disposable nappies and that's that, don't you? It's no more than R450 or thereabout. The child still has to eat, get clothed, bathed, etc. We have rape pandemic.

This is just not true.

Who cares about nappies, food, clothes etc? R450 buys a weekend's booze and drugs for the indigents that get 6000 litres free water and 50 units free electricity and live in a house that was given to them for free. Having 5 or 6 kids on the grant gets a party every weekend. The town has 3000 inhabitants. 1500 are kids. Want to tell me that is a natural age distribution phenomenon?

The social welfare, farmers and NGO's take care of the food, nappies, sanitary towels etc. I've been in my social welfare department and seen the food packages made up with the names and addresses on them. And then they still get sold after delivery so that more booze and drugs can be bought.

Coming to my area would be an eye opener for many people. Especially the number of FAS kids running around. You can find the kids of a family who have just received a welfare food package scavenging at the dump for food the next day.

This is just not true.

Because you've never seen it or because you just don't want to acknowledge it?

Limpopo and EC are mostly rural. To get free electricity, you have to apply for it, something many people don't bother with. And yes, a large number buy basic necessities.

Not 10 year olds. At least where I come from.

O can't confirm this but if true, no it's not.

I'm in the rural areas more often than I used to.

You can't get more rural than where I am. Dirt roads and all towns 100 km from each other. Not much in between.

And believe me, all the people that can apply for the free electricity and water do so. Even those earning above the threshold. I had workers wanting me to give them reduced pay sheets for subsidised services and inflated pay sheets for loan applications.
