Linksys nightmare

A month ago I bought a Linksys wireless router to use with my HSDPA card. Unfortunately I had to do the firmware upgrade myself which didn't go as smoothly as expected. I took it in to a Vodashop and they gave it back to me and when I get home, hey presto everything seems to work fine.

I have 3 PC's working well on the router, except there is one small problem: I can't access the router interface by punching in it's IP. It asks me for a password and username and the default password of "admin" does not work. I spoke to the guy at the Vodashop, but he said that the password wasn't changed(I had previously managed to log into the router interface using the "admin" password).

Can anyone provide some assistance as to what I should do next. Obviously I'd like to sort this out without the need to go back to a Vodacom shop...

Thank you

From the Router Manual:

I forgot my password, or the password prompt always appears when I am saving settings to the Router.

- Reset the Router to factory default by pressing the Reset button for 10 seconds and then releasing it. If you are still getting prompted for a password when saving settings, then perform the following steps:

1. Access the Router’s web-based utility by going to http://192.168.1.1 or the IP address of the Router.
Enter the default password admin, and click the Administration => Management tab.
2. Enter a different password in the Router Password field, and enter the same password in the second field to confirm the password.
3. Click the Save Settings button.
