I'm sure there will be smaller companies that would benefit from such a person, you will have to proof yourself first though.

Seen as we now have access to Paypal, why not make use of these guys:
Linux Jobs at Freelancer.com

Agreed with everyone else's sentiments on the Engrish language here, your usage reflects how you generally operate. Came across this funny post the other day:

Link
Just one lady in front of me. . .an Asian lady who was trying to
exchange yen for dollars and she was a little irritated. She asked the
teller, "Why it change?? Yesterday, I get two hunat dolla fo yen. Today
I get hunat eighty?? Why it change?" The teller shrugged his shoulders
and said, "Fluctuations." The Asian lady says, "Fluc you white people,
too".

Most companies will require you to support Windows SMB also, as most workstations are Windows based. Thus I would advise you not to barb Windows like that. I also support Linux, but like BSD better. But sometimes have no choice in rolling out web apps on Windows based WAMP frameworks.

Businesses use Windows, cos if there are problems, they can phone Microsoft and tell them to fix it pronto. When I worked in the UK as a contractor, I experienced this once....and Microsoft saved my bacon that day.

Some media player started acting weirdly and messed up all the fund managers' profiles, they couldn't trade, started going berserk....I phoned Microsoft Ireland & they emailed me a pre-hotfix....was not even available yet. Sorted.

Now who are you gonna phone when the Linux distro in your company with 500 pcs starts behaving weirdly?

Well there are also some bigger companies also running LINUX.
Bigger companies usually have their own dedicated IT department?

Also, it would not hurt if you have a bit of paper to back you up, some form of qualification. It will help out tremendously in the beginning to get you going.

Just a piece of advice, do not tackle/implement something if you are not 100% sure of all it's ins and outs. There is nothing worse for a company to get someone to do something and then having to hire someone else again to come and fix the mess.

Yeah right buddie!

You have obviously not worked long enough in the IT world.....but Murphy's Law is the one I came to trust.

That was a joke, dude.

The difference between Windows sysadmins and Linux sysadmins is that, when something breaks on their server, the Linux sysadmins actually know how to fix it. Why? Because Linux doesn't just break for the hell of it; there is always a reason.

Don't get me wrong; with production boxes it is always a good idea to go Enterprise on the off chance that a kernel patch causes **** or something, you can contact support. However it is far less likely that it will be necessary in a Linux environment because, and let's be honest here, Linux isn't nearly as volatile as Windows. I mean, a malfunctioning media player just isn't going to wipe out employee profiles apropos of nothing in Linux...

All computer systems will give you problems - Windows, Linux, Mac OS. As soon as you make peace with this fact, you can operate.

Call Microsoft for support? That's a laugh. I've been a Windows sysadmin for years, and take it from me, MS is NOT the place to go for support. If you can get them to give you any, which is like pulling teeth. No, the advantage of supporting MS products is that there are many OTHER knowledgeable people / companies you can turn to for help if need be, but believe me, very seldom will Microsoft themselves be one of those.
Of course, the corollary to this is that there are fewer people who can support Linux, so less competition for you if you have those skills.
