A Stellenbosch based technology company is looking for a highly skilled and trustworthy Linux Systems Administrator. 3-5 years extensive Linux exposure (preferably Debian/Ubuntu server and desktop) is a pre-requisite, with some basic Windows knowledge.

Primary responsibilities:

- Ubuntu and Debian server maintenance.
- Day to day Ubuntu desktop set-up and support.
- Embedded system remote administration.
- Network administration.
- Windows in VM's, administration.
- Pastel in Linux environment.
- Basic hardware maintenance and fault identification.
- Backups
- Security and risk management

The duties are pretty basic. Really, really entry level though come to think of it. So I don't think the salary would be much.

Most *nix users can do those duties in their sleep.

But yes an indication of salary would really help.

Why do these people come on here and just copy / paste everytime?
