I fnid the problem isn't Linux per se, but rather Linux users. They're like Jehova's witnesses. I hope they're very happy with their religion, just f*** off and don't try and shove your Watchtower pamphlet down my throat. I don't want to hear about how awesome you think your little world is. I'm happy here, and have made a conscious decision to use what I use, not what YOU use.

I don't find that the case with the Linux users at all. They won't preach about what they like unless they are countering some argument where somebody has taken the Penquins name in vein and compared it to the heathen that are apples or frameworks of wood or metal that contain a glass panes and is built into a wall or roof to admit light or air.

I just can't stand it when some random idiot comes into the Linux section and start with their self-righteous "What did you expect from Linux / Linux will always suck / Windows is the only solution"

I stay out of the Windows section and let them have their peace, so stay out of my back yard with your nonsense! I know it is childish, but any Linux section on any board is the place I call home, keep your garbage in your own garden and I'll leave you alone, okay?

I couldn't care less what anyone else thinks of Linux or MacOS or <insert OS here>, if he feels that way about Linux users then just leave us alone?
I have not seen anyone on this board go "Linux evangelising", can't recall any such thing happening even once, unless I missed something somewhere.

Maybe he has a guilty conscience and needs to convert?

I do not see myself as a Jehovas Witness, I'm much more a farmer, sitting quietly on his stoep sipping his Linux brew with his double barrel comeback next to his chair filled with retort.
