So I posted in the Ariel thread that saw this Biomatic powder that I have never seen before @ PNP Hyper. Did some checkin on the net and the claims seemed rather nice. 1.5kg of Biomatic = 6kg of normal powder etc etc. Bought a pack and did the first loads this weekend. I am not mad about the smell of the powder...but it does not stay on the clothes. Use two small scoops.

What really impressed me is that when I washed out white bath mats (I have pondered getting new ones as the dark marks etc dont want to come out etc) .... but popped it into the machine with this powder...set the temp on 60degrees for a hour wash and it came out nice and clean. No more dark marks.

I shaved the other night and nicked myself. Saturday afternoon I see that got on my pillowcase and it dried in. Soaked it in a little Biomatic bath overnight (did pretreat it) and popped it in the wash this morning. Stain completely removed. :D

It is a weird texture....seems almost like it is moist. Anyway...I have 5 packs of Ariel powder that we bought for housemate...so will wash her stuff with Ariel and mine will be washed with Biomatic.

Oh...they say it cleans your machine also.

It is not that expensive either. With using so little per wash will work out a lot cheaper I am hoping.

Anyway....thought I would share :)

We had been using that for years and actually recently switched to the Skip liquid stuff instead.

One box does last months though.

Well....according to Lion Brands 1.5kg of Biomatic = 6kg of normal powder like Ariel or Omo. ... so yes....it should work out more cost effective. Two tiny scoops of Biomatic does indeed get the job done. For me anyway.
