Full signal. No 3G. SpeedTest results (the times it actually finds a server) were in the region of 0.20kbps Down, 0.02kbps Up. iPhone 4. My MTN line, also an iPhone 4 gives me 5.2mbps Down and 2.3Mbps Up, in the same area, at the same time, with the CellC iPhone right next to the MTN one.

thought there was something wrong with my phone, ever since I have came back from holiday I have had this problem. Glad to see I am not the only one.

I live in Malanshof Randburg. My Cell C data connection drops at least once a day during the week. I am hardly able to use the service at weekends, it's so slow or non-existent.

I reported this to Cell C on the 6th of this month (ticket 1741494). In spite of phoning them to find out what's happening and being promised that they'll expedite the ticket, nothing has yet improved. I couldn't even get through to their support desk late yesterday, there must have been so many people on the line complaining.

It also doesn't help to complain on HelloPeter. Cell C will just send you a template reply promising to look into your problem (so that HelloPeter lists them under the category "Companies who respond") and then you won't hear anything further.

I live in Phoenix, North of Durban. I wish i could somehow get a full refund on my Giga 200. Its seems to be an ongoing daily problem that Cell C are absolutely clueless on how to fix.

Even if it is ignored by CellC, I wanted to see the extent of their "isolated" issues and make it known to other MyBB members who are considering moving across, giving them the chance to think twice.

My recommendation for anybody considering would be to test out a prepaid sim with voice and data for two months in your area and then make a decision, wish I had done that. Though, luckly I have wifi at work and at home, so not to badly affected.

Where is the Cell_C rep ? I'm wondering if reality has finally hit him/her, and they can acknowledge the gravity of this widespread, country wide problem. It's clearly not sorted out. Asking people to log individual calls was the daftest thing I've seen the rep post here. If you're out there, Cell_C rep, please use my suggestion and log a call on behalf of every single person that has posted on this thread. Show us how great you are at customer service and satisfaction, and give us back our Internet ! You should know, that because of this problem, I will not be moving my other 2 lines over to you now. I'd rather pay more for a service that works when I need it to.

Dearest network team who are looking at this thread. My internet doesn't work in the evenings. The Cell C representative has my details. I live in Harveston Roodepoort Gauteng. The same tower also affects places like Radiokop and Wilgeheuwel.

Please help. Send me a pm for more information or something. It's been a non stop struggle. Please help. I beg you.

1 month already, and no resolution ? I've never heard of a country wide outage of this scale going on for this long without a resolution ... ever. You have a clear list of areas mentioned in this thread. Copy and paste them into a call log, or bookmark this thread.
