Vodacom also provides FTTH on an open network basis.

To what ISP's? have found if Vodacom does an install its locked to them as your ISP only when someone else like Octotel,Vumatel etc install that you can choose to use Vodacom but even then they are pretty pricey and not the biggest fan of their FUP on Uncapped.

Yeah, not really open hey. They lock you into a minimum 12 month exclusivity with them, and then after that, there are no isp's actually live on their network.

Well, they are installing in Meyersdal now. Will see what my Dad has access to through them.

Well, as an example, look at the cool ideas list of fibre providers....

(Or any other isp's list of providers for that matter... vodacrap is not an open access FTTH provider in any way that an end user can actually utilise)
