Thanks for that.
Wow - Slide 17 --> Duhva boiler went down March 2014.
They are ALMOST at the point of getting started at getting a new one.
Very very sad indictment of Eskom's poor leadership.
Also throughout- Eskom supplied 96% of the demand... what on earth can that possibly mean? What a weird way to say anything. There is no way of knowing how much power
could have been used employing people, making them more comfortable etc... if it wasn't for the uncertain mess that Eskom is in.
It completely neglects the amount of power produced by people and things going off-grid and/or people off-setting or reducing their usage.
Some other Weird things to say...
Stage 3 used to be 4,000MW, now it's only 3000... forgetting that there used to be Stage 3A and Stage 3B... now there is a stage 4?!
Also - basically they are only even trying to get to 96% during the peaks... so that means Stage 1 or 2 every morning and evening?
