Since this matter is in the public interest, as is state capture in its entirety I can only trust that the state or the NPA will at least give notice that the extradition process has commenced, that the application to extradite the two Gupta brothers has been made. Then it is up to the UAE. Mind you, the process alone may take years.

I will have to admit i have my doubts they will ever see a jail cell but this is a good development as i never expected them to ever be arrested in Dubai. if anything at least they gonna miss a little sleep at night stressing.

Good news, though it was mandated. The UAE had to act on the Red Notice and though the Guptas wasn't published on the Red Notice board the second time around it was still a mandate. Just know that the Guptas has been arrested on our request, but the responsibility is on us to cooperate with the UAE to engage in the extradition process. Sadly, it seems the public won't be privy to this process as per the NPA.

The next step is to submit the extradition application. We don’t know the status on this, but without this step there is no purpose to the two Gupta brothers being arrested. Basically, the UAE passed the ball back into our court.
