If they make it to South Africa and end up in court, I am 90% certain that their representing attorney will be Dali Mpofu, he will run circles around the legal system and NPA, and they will be free. Unless he is up against some of our top private prosecutors we have no chance. Also there will probably plenty of threats and intimidation against those prosecuting attorneys, so we first need to find some with a pair of massive balls to accept the case.

I think its a given that Dali will have his hand in things, but no he won't run circles around the legal system or the NPA, he'll just do his normal thing of throw 10 tons of shyte on the wall and hope some of it stick, and just rinse and repeat ad infinitum.

Are they arrested for state capture in SA or something else
For now, on money laundering and fraud charges, I think? But I reckon if they here, they'd get hit with the state capture.

I honestly hope our authorities, can find some way to get them to testify against Zuma somehow. That ****er should also go to jail.

Good. Bring them back home.... now a long wait as they fight extradition in Dubai courts....
If by some miracle they do get sent back to SA, I wonder if they will be held in custody without bail, pending their case, as they should be seen as a flight risk.

I feel that throwing shyte against the wall is a way/form of running circles around the legal system. So I think we agree.

Think about the timing of this.
This is nothing but a peacemeal distraction from Ramaphosa's shenanigans currently under review.
He has to show his government is tackling corruption by using them as a smoke screen.
You can't be serious? We've been waiting for so long for the Guptas to get arrested (or at least some of them) to the point that no one thought they'd actually get arrested.

But no, somehow Rama's Dollar Heist is somehow more important than the actual people who looted and nearly destroyed SA getting arrested? Nah, total smokescreen there.

Nee jong...
Let's deal with both, ey?

There's almost no bail amount they can't cover and they're surely a flight risk considering they've already fled once before?

Nope, its a way of frustrating the legal system.

Run circles around it means you are actively better than and are beating it.

**EDIT** Also the legal system just needs to tighten up its rules and such and Dali's tactics would fail spectacularly.

Time for poll.

They are never going to be arrested.
If they are arrested, they are never going to be extradited
If they are extradited, there is never going to be trial
If there is a trial, Dali will run rings around them unless prosecutor is of my choosing
If there is a trial, that will take years and there will be no judgement
If there is judgement, it will not be enforced
If it is enforced, they will be out on medical parole

Only 2 comes to mind at the moment.

Gerrie Nel, which I dont know if they have faced off before (although most probably.)
Mark Oppenheimer (currently busy on the case against Julius Malema).
How's the case going? How long has it been going?

They definitely are flight risks. They already fled the country and refused to return, trying to seek protection from a country with no extradition treaties with SA.

But, then again, this is South Africa. Courts, law and government are jokes. They will probably get bail and not be considered flight risks.

No, come on. No judge in their right mind would let these idiots out on bail after fleeing and evading justice a previous time?
