It's a better draw for 'Pool than say Juve...there's always a chance against teams that come forward and want to push.

Our record with City cherry picked in their favour still has us on top. Klopp is on top head to head against Pep 6-5-1.

Playing at Anfield on the 4th where City have a bad record, and then Everton 7th, followed by 50Km travel to City on the 10th. What I would miss about the draw would be the European Night feeling, for both teams it would have been nice to have a foreign name visiting. When we played Manchester United and Dortmund in the Europa League a couple of years back we had the most amazing atmosphere. Maybe we can get a majority of Liverpool supporters at the Etihad as well?

those ties with chelsea were crazy with atmosphere. dont think that will be an issue...

Well hopefully you can do us a favour and knock City to next season so they go on a losing streak :D 8 matches to go your first match on the 4th which means 2 matches down and they face you then us - so if you could demoralise them before our match (hopefully we can) steal a win then thump them again before they play Tottenham. If they lose 4/5 matches 12/15 points it'll give us some hope :p

Alas this is football manager wishful thing tho :(

Hopefully city beat united to win the title at the ethihad on the 7th and play a lackluster 2nd leg against us so we go through to the semis.

Please if they beat United they would be on a high and be motivated to make it to the semi's.

Derby games with both teams going to a critical game thereafter. Cynical fouling all game and worse with Liverpool away to Everton.

Was just thinking it would be the right time for a goal. Needed to take the game back. Henderson had a horrid 15 minutes since Can went off.
