Good win by the laaities and fringe players. Shaqiri looks like a bargain buy already with he's touches and finishing. Sturridge touch seems to be back and good finishing, let's hope he stays fit. Some other youngsters also stepping up.

Giving the mancs a spank early in the season makes it even better. I know it's only a friendly, but this is where your fringe and youngsters show their mettle that they can step up to the senior level.

Good win, upwards and onwards. Lawrence would have been proud of the boys

Okay, Bobby's goal was wonderful individual skill... but Gini's goal was pure class from everyone involved.

Shaqiri looks like the signing of the season with what I've seen from him. He's delicate touches are superb.

Looking fresh and ready for the start of the season. Squad has depth and ready to challenge for the title.

There might be a late signing coming in, but I really doubt it.
