Very cool idea. Downloading some tracks now. Actually clicked on one of the sponsors links because it actually interested me. I am finding the downloads a little slow (5 - 10 KB/s) but it is free so I can't complain

What a Bummer! I registered,tried to download a track only to find that the daily free downloads are not available due to lack of advertising revenue. Maybe Google Adsense should be used on this site

Restricted downloads per day and artists

Hi, its Marvin here from loadtheshow.com - we've been running for just over 6 months, we are currently restricting the amounts of downloads available per a day at the moment until we get some serious sponsors on board....

We have just over 150 artists who have signed up with loadtheshow, and more being added everyday.... 95% of them are South African, the rest are from Canada/Spain/UK etc.

While I like the whole loadtheshow.com concept, I did run into that limitation when I tried to download 1 track shortly after registering, does this mean I should wait until midnight before attempting to download that track again?

Yes, the downloads are reset at midnight. A hint though... we have not targeted the other countries we have listed that much, so often when the SA downloads have run out, there are still downloads available in Canada, Italy, Germany etc. So just change your country preference and you should be able to download!
