No fsck off...

Any attempt to get Karpowerships involved should be dragged to court and stopped, we do not want to pad Gwede's retirement fund.

and 3 months now?? last week it was 14 months.

gwede should rather eat some of those magic congo power rocks and shove a light globe up his bum if the wants to help with loadshedding.

I would less irritated if existing private power-generation companies in-country are afforded the opportunity to sell their electricity, first.

R50 however says that Baas Uncle Gwede will get his powership deal in first, after which the ANC will say it no longer needs the local private power-generation companies

Here's another R50 bet:
The ANC will implement legislation which will require the application, and ANC approval, for any new and existing domestic & commercial solar+battery backup installations.

It'll be hard and complicated, like getting a firearm.

They're already laying the groundwork : https://www.news24.com/news24/south...olding-back-more-megawatts-ramaphosa-20230123

Their own redtape is getting in the way, so will promulgate emergency legislation to get around it... Whilst I want this loadshedding to go away, I am 100% opposed to the ANC getting more power to just push deals through in an "emergency" fashion because we all know what that actually means.

This is classic ANC encroachment.

They make shiit so bad that any plan to improve it gets lapped up, and punted, by the mainstream, over finding the root cause that brought us to this stage.

Note, where not at the "shiit is so bad" part, yet. We're fast approaching power cut levels that will affect water and sewage, which is when the ANC will gladly intervene.

They most probably destroy the system on purpose to secure all the juicy lucrative opportunities.

You give them waaaaay too much credit.

They're just further capitalising on the previous theft and corruption.
