Load-shedding has cost the economy up to R338 billion

A new report by the CSIR Energy Centre shows that South Africa had the worst year of load-shedding on record in 2019, costing the economy between R60 billion and R120 billion last year alone.

The total economic impact of load shedding in South Africa could be as high as as R338 billion over the past 10 years.

Don't worry, the executives still get their bonuses and the members of cANCer can still loot so all is fine

The ANC have been given ALL the answers on a platter, but they are full from the feeding trough already.

Encourage embedded generation and energy storage like solar power with batteries for residential, commercial, agricultural, industrial and mining operations.
Uncle Gweezy says "NO, over my dead body"

Mark my words the Chinese are going to buy/lease the land earmarked for the new container port by the old airport in Durban and build a military base there

for whom is this still a shocker little piece of info? perhaps just Cyril and Gwede and the comrades who have their heads in the sand, or up somebody's bum?
the rest of us all know how the eskom and other SOE failures are fleecing the economy, money that could have been used to improve life for all if gov wasnt so retarded and incompetent and hell bent to not leave a positive legacy

ANC doesn't know about crisis and drastic action. Funny how ordinary citizens can know the answer and government not.

Doubtful.. That land is just trouble right now.
