Loadshedding and parliamentary villages

I'm curious to get some confirmation from people here who may live very close to any of the parliamentary villages in the country (Acacia Park, Laboria Park, Pelican Park etc).

My mother has a very good friend who call each other every couple of days, they have been friends since they were kids.

My mother tells me her friend does not remember when last they had loadshedding.
Is this possibly because she lives across the road from a parliamentary village - surely not ?

Are parliamentary villages also being plunged into darkness like the rest of us ?

Nope. Its already been confirmed that they don't get loadshed.

Loadshedding is for the politically unconnected peasants remember...

That is what the ANC is going to be forced to deal with after all the promises of free electricity and all that crap. All coming back to bite them on the butt. Soweto is where the reality begins. Nothing is free.
