Hello Everyone,

I would just like to find out if anyone would be interested in local only accounts priced at under R0.05 per MB?

Regards,
Dylan Winik

I'd be interested ...

um ... 3 GB @ R0.05 Per MB = 3000 MB @ R0.05 Per MB = R 150.00 for 3 GB.
LOCAL ONLY.

BUT ... it must be on the SAIX backbone and a fixed IP would be cool and ...

OpenWeb offer local only accounts for R139 pm with a 30GB limit, which works out to about 1/2 a cent per MB. The 30GB limit's not enforced yet either, so it's a great deal.

so lets see:

OpenWeb (can't find their local-only offering on their site)
IS-2GB, 2GB international, no / unspecified local cap (but at least 30GB), R163 per month.

your model
no international bandwidth, lets say 4c per MB. 30GB would cost (30 * 1024MB) = 30720MB @ 4c per MB = R1,228.80

No, I'm not interested. Even at 1c per MB you're nearly double OpenWeb's offering.

yeah man, ATM IS is uncapped so there is no way that u are gonna sell local only bandwidth for that much!

R1500 for 30GB vs IS @ R250 or so for the same - with 3GB international as well.
IS is better.

Don't Verizon wholesale at 2c/MB local? That would make 3c a 50% markup and 5c a 250% markup. A bit steep I reckon.
