Hi All,

First time poster here but like time reader and user of forums.

I have a pretty simple question really... Are there any local brands or companies that manufacture PC accessories like keyboards?

Doesn't matrix warehouse sell local stuff or is it all imported?

Reason being is I have a fantastic idea for a gaming keyboard and have no idea who I might be able to approach or discuss it with.

Any help would be appreciated.

I'll do you a favour and start the replies (these types of threads can die easily). I'll give an answer like those you get on Yahoo Answers and the like (useless people with no real knowledge of the matter googling for answers or giving stupid answers). From the looks of those at you know where, it all seems imported - can't get that thin hard shiny plastic anywhere else than China! :D Good luck!

yes as is Proline (Pinnacle) - doesn't mean they get made here tho...

Mecer / Mustek PC's are assembled locally - it's a local brand.

Nearly all PC components get made in China or the East these days.

probably just assembled - highly doubt the boards are produced here.

+1

In the decades past, PC boards used to get manufactured in Europe and the USA, but these days the cheaper costs of manufacturing in the East annihilated Western manufacturing.

Child labour FTW! :p
