Corporate speak translated: Lets drain consumers pockets even further... Pay or you can't advertise, so much for increasing free content on the web. This strategy is counterproductive in the local market.

 How much have you paid to google in the past?

Attend the function and then lets speak...

I “advertise” (page ranking) on behalf of my clients via Google and I have recently received several calls from a so called Google SA manager that I will no longer be allowed to improve the rankings in the manner which I have done and they have deleted several of the records, which has forced me to resubmit them via Google USA.

To clarify: Most of my client base is comprised of SME’s and it takes some effort to enlighten them on the advantages of having “broadband” access, creating and hosting of their domains and other costs associated with having appropriate access and a defined presence on the internet.

With the relatively high costs that are associated with these services (locally) they rightfully expect that should the content of their site be more appropriate than a big corporate company’s website (with a large advertising budget), that their site should be listed first.

The internet levelled the playing field where everyone had the same level of exposure…

Where do you advertise for free?
