Sign up with GooglePOPing to local mail servers is ridiculously SLOW!
This is LOCAL traffic, which I thought was fixed!
I suppose all my traffic goes from Durban To Joburg, and then back down again to Durban to local mail pops, mirrors etc.
Did anybody think to tie the network into local ISP's in Durban CapeTown. probably NO!
Imagine the local bandwidth being wasted with the POPing to the ISP next door going via Joburg.
This isn't exactly internet (by definition).
I've handed the memory stick, Stiffie Disc and punch card to the Mini-bus taxi-driver! (At last REAL speed)
