Local sites timing out ??

Hi there

Since about 10:30 today a lot of local sites seem to take forever to load or time out, or things like pictures time out while the rest of the site loads. This forum load fine though

International sites are loading at their nomal speed except for amazon, who's pictures also just come up with a X untill I click show pic, but all others seem fine

Anybody elso seeing this problem ??

Yes we all have. Perhaps not today but at some stage. Again, this is the nature of the connection. I dont know of any local issues and highly doubt it. I think it might be a direct vs. transparent proxy issue.
