Lockdown booze recipes

So in the spirit of this thread I brewed this monstrosity last night :) (flour, bread, oats, sugar, orange peel, coriander, tea)

It went pretty badly with poor conversion and a pain to strain out some sort of wort but I'll let the pictures do the talking for now. Last one is of the krausen today.

If it tastes anything like beer it will be the best beer I ever drank during lockdown :ROFL:

I found a brewshop that said they will deliver so I've placed my order for a proper beer as I think we are still a month or 2 away from being allowed to buy it again :(

i have a sneaking suspicion we can buy next week Friday
but i need to check in again with my bud at Distell later next week to confirm

Most of the guys seem to be drinking their beer after simple sugar fermentation is mostly done. If you leave it longer the yeast will process the other sugars as well as clean up some of the sulfers and esters and things then clump together or drop out of suspension taking away the yeasty flavours.

My one 2l bottle is rather cloudy and still very yeasty. However it's lost all it's sweetness. Can I add sugar at this late stage and how much per 2L to continue?
