@Steamy Tom just to confirm the hydrated yeast wasnt foamy in the water just dissolved right? it would only be foamy if there was sugar in correct?
If you're going to "hydrate the yeast" add a little bit of sugar and make sure the yeast is still good or better still get it going using a little bit of the juice.no just that water to hydrate the yeast remember the juice versions have most the sugar in the actual juice

I spray a weak bleach solution into the bottle when I've emptied and rinsed it. Then when it's time to bottle again I give it a quick rinse.

So to be clear I rinsed all equipment including fermenting bottles with a milton dilution, I made sure all liquid was out then added the juice yeast etc is this batch messed now?
