Any suggestions on a nice copper still, saw a few on website suggest in this forum.
1L , 3L et c.

This would be for vodka, gin.

One site had a nice small 1L still, for R1300. But I'm no expert. So I'm not sure how long you'll be busy to make 1L vodka or gin. Kinda seeing a new hobby brewing up :D

Fk pineapple beer, hardehout hier kom ons.

Read up a bit before you buy one of the small stills. You need a decent size boiler to do a good run.
You mean like a heating setup ?

Because these do have a gas burner inside the base. You'd need to buy a gas bottle

By boiler I mean where you put the "beer" you are distilling and thats the size you are quoting ie. 1l, 2l still etc.

My plan is to turn my 16L pressure cooker into a still. I'm not following this dude exactly, but he has some sound advice!

Apparently,
But over the past five weeks of lockdown, tales of police abuse of power and brutality have emerged across the length and spread of South Africa. Most recently the grapevine buzzed with the seizure of pineapples and yeast at roadblocks and elsewhere, even though neither are prohibited in the regulations that also do not ban the consumption of alcohol in one’s private home.

My pineapple brew wasn't successful. It has a bitter/dry taste and not really any flavour.

EDIT: I have watched loads of youtube vids and Stainless Steal is the way to go, much easier to clean. Copper is just for a nostalgic look
Copper is not just for the nostalgic look and has a very real purpose in the still. If you select stainless at least have some copper in the path. It is also dead easy to clean.
I went the home built route initially, all stainless and battled with quality and volume.

The small stills are not for alcohol. They are for the hobby distilling of essential oils. You will be wasting your money.
