Doesn't seem anyone is dragging them to court unfortunately.
It looks like they are starting though... The Da are rumbling.. Some civil rights groups as well. This about turn in the cigarettes issue will make them rise up I think as well.

They better, because level 4 is still BS, than they will backtrack on level 3 and 2 and basically when the rest of the world is up and running we will still be at 3.

Thinking about it ??
Stop thinking, just do it , enough is enough

Yes, they'll still be pondering by Xmas if they don't do something now. Wouldn't know what they can do, but anything at this stage would be encouraging.

A lot of chatter on social media but then again who knows with social media what is just hot air and what is not, but it does appear the government has now made too many bad calls and things are moving against them. Interesting to see how the school saga will pan out, this appears to be a no win situation.

They've already lost mine and can now go get fscked. Whatever trust they had in the first few weeks has long since gone.

The constant flip flopping between ministers in a dick swinging exercise was bad. But this cigarette u-turn is the tipping point and it has nothing to do with smoking. It's the fact that the president officially has no credibility by making a statement, only to be overruled by a Zuma at the last minute, apparently due to 2,000 moaners.

Would like to see what a pitiful army of 70,000 soldiers will be able to do against an uprising of 50,000,000...

I think the first original 3 weeks we all thought some of the restrictions and rules were a bit daft but were prepared to suck it up because of virus and saving people and giving the government time to figure out a policy, except then things started to unravel.

From banning of cigarettes and alcohol, and not being able to buy stationery and even toys for kids in lockdown, then banning of cooked foods to having hardware stores closed, having eCommerce shut down and no fast food or food deliveries, to then allowing cigarettes but banning again, and not being able to buy spares or appliances, to opening schools but not really and the business relief that is BEE , then not, then is again, so yeah we take your taxes but **** you if you in the minority and need financial assistance, arresting grannies for selling foods and beating up of civilians by army, and I'm sure I've forgot a few other dumb decisions - so yeah, support has/is being eroded.

I think we getting close to so what if I get the virus as it's going to be the least of my worries.

Theyve lost my support. The lies, the moving of the goal posts, race based relief. They lost me.

Never had mine, never will.

If this is the "freedom" the majority believe they have won, then they deserve the sh itty government they got.
Unfortunately, a bunch of folks who didnt vote for the ANC are paying more for this ignorance than they should.

And quite frankly, I shant be surprised when the masses vote the same bunch of oppressive tossers back in.

Pretty much how I feel. I lost all confidence in the lockdown, this exercise and tobacco issue was the last straw. Such a great idea to collectively exercise at 6-9am in the freezing cold on an empty (or full) stomach....
“If we open up any one category, let’s say e-commerce, unavoidably there’s enormous pressure to do the same for physical stores, for spaza shops, for informal traders, so there is fair competition,” Patel said. Just stupid logic.
Places like Diepsloot can't self-isolate or safely consume alcohol and tobacco, therefore we must all suffer.
The point of the lockdown was to halt a mass outbreak and make time to prepare mitigation resources, of which this racist government had 5 crucial weeks and months of warning to prepare, now they have to play their hand.

I have tried to keep an open mind during the lock down and realise that mistakes will be made as everything is tried and tested and a workable solution found along the way. I am losing faith fast thought with this last round of nonsensical regulations like still banning tobacco and tobacco related products despite it not affecting me at all.

The problem is, it won't affect YOU, but it'll affect the vast majority of poor people that tend to share cigarettes and (alcoholic) drinks.

It wouldn't be in the ANC's best interests to prohibit these poor people in settlements etc. from smoking and drinking while allowing it for the middle class and above. It's not "fair".

So we all suffer as a result.

And what about everything else they tend to share between each other, why not ban that as well? It's a kak excuse they know it, we know it, but they know that we can't do anything about it and we must just be good little Commies and do as we are told.
