Hi Guys

As we all know the Logitech Z-906 and Logitech Z-5500 has been discontinued....these were both great speakers systems.

Does anyone know if Logitech will be bothering to replace these models with something more up to date, something with a HDMI port and so on....? As you can't find the z906's anywhere but gumtree now a days.

If you are looking for any of those two, try finding the z5500 first.

However, I think Logitech might have plans to bring out another set to replace the Z906's, not that it was such a great system compared to the Z5500's.

I have the Z906's and use them as a home theater setup connected to my TV with Optical cable. It works great with my DSTV, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.... Games and movies & Music sounds great on them as a cheap alternative to high end home theater systems.

But the Z906 was first released in 2011 and the z5500 in 2004 so for the price of R5000+ i kinda want something a bit newer If you know what I mean.

It would be great if they would replace the z906's with a system that's as good or better than the z5500 but with a bit more tech like HDMI ect.

I bought the Z5500's about 3 years ago, used it on and off for 2 years, great sound system. Its just lying around and gathering dust now though, havent used it for a year. If you're interested in a set that is a few years old PM me.
