Heard the funniest thing today while on hold with the Telkom call center (10210).

Telkom claims to be able to offer high-speed internet services up to 4gbps on an analogue voice line. I fell over laughing...

That's quite a huge fail.

CPA BABY! Goods not as described!

Did he say it was 4 gigabits per second or did he say 4 gigabytes?

a. Telkom claims to be able to offer high-speed internet services, up to 4gbps on an analogue voice line.
b. Telkom claims to be able to offer high-speed internet services, up to 4gbs on an analogue voice line.

One of these statement is true the other an impossibility. :D

They clearly said "per second".

Edit: Just heard it again now - definitely 4 gigabits per second. Telkom call centre is taking ages today. WTF is going on? I usually never hold for more than 5 minutes.
