Hi

I'm looking for an adsl router but have some specific requirements:

a) access to a non-http based cli. web frontend being there is fine but I want the option of a cli via telnet/ssh/console aswell

b) snmp support (snmpv1 is fine)

I've been looking at the netgear D834G but it seems it's only manageable via web interface, and no mention of snmp.

thanks

D-Link DSL300G

It's not a router, I should state that first, while it has a built in PPPoE client, it does a terrible job of NAT and any other functions you'd want in a router.

However, it is a fantastic ethernet to ethernet over ATM bridge. Meaning, you can just run a PPPoE client on your existing router, or UNIX machine, or what ever kind of machine you like.

The DSL-300G is managable via HTTP, SNMPv1 and a CLI accessible via telnet.

I bought mine for R750, you should still be able to find it near that price.
