Next up, Death Note on Netflix. Can you believe they got a black guy to play L? What do we call that? Blackwashing? Coal smearing?
Schit already hit the fan with that one. Funny how people come up with all kinds of excuses white actors can play Asian characters. Make one of those characters black, and everyone loses there schit.![]()

I watched the first episode of drifter! it was insane! gore and blood stained sword! awesome! good recommendation. Plus it has that history part to it that I llike! thanks readsalot
Sword art online?I have missed the last 5 years of anime, except for Naruto Shippuuden and attack on titan season1.
Any good ones to recommend? I like sword animes, like Kenshin and even one like Shura no Toki.
Also Hikaru no Go, was also brilliant.
There are so many new names, I don't know where to start.
Pleasure
Sure - what do you like? If you like action you can check out Tenjou Tenge, if you like martial arts and comedy you can check out Kenichi, History's Mightiest Disciple.Have anything more like Drifter? Binged through it yesterday and now I don't have anything to watch.

One of my all-time favourite animes is Hajime no Ippo, about boxing.
Gate and Overlord are modern and based on RPGs, fun to watch.
Hunter X Hunter and Seven Deadly Sins are quite simply fantastic and very highly rated, at least as good as Fairy Tail.
If you like sports anime Baby Steps, One Outs, Kuroko no Basket and Haikyuu! are excellent.
Let me know what you like and I can give you a few recommendations.
My preferences run towards humour and action, so mostly that's what I watch, but I'll be happy to help you find something different if your taste isn't the same.
Happy watching!
