ahhh, i used to watch weekly, and then a few times the tension got too much and i wanted to break various items around my house, so since then, i wait, download an entire saga, and then just binge watch the entire thing at one go.

Its like eating an entire bucket of KFC at one go, like you cant stop, you just get in the zone, and then you suffer with the consequences afterwards. and no, i have never done that:sick:

I hear you.
Did that with One Piece.. After 500 odd episodes, I now wear glasses :(

Speaking off new anime, anyone watched the second season of to aru kagaku no railgun?

just downloaded it now and rewatched the first season, was quite good :)

Railgun is one of the best anime series there is IMO. S2 sucks big time though. "Sisters" arc is total cr@p. After that it gets better.

Chaika the Coffin Princess is also good, if you liked Railgun.

I see terra formars has started...
The manga is pretty good. Somewhat a different spin on the normal typical storyline stuff.

The ova had some decent animation. Waiting on the fulls anime to be complete and then binge :D

Why are you constantly advertising that site and other streaming platforms?

Because supporting the industry means we get more awesome stuff. Pirating everything helps no one.

But why? What is your motive to come to this thread and talk about nothing but streaming services? Are you paid or is it some form of autism?

Chevron is merely sharing an alternate way of getting hold of anime, legally. It makes sense to make use of legal streaming service (saves disk space, and companies get money to publish more anime). And it is relevant to this thread, since it is an Anime thread (we discuss everything related to anime).

Are you purposefully being obtuse..? As koeks already said it's a legal and convenient way of viewing content. I have also signed up with crunchyroll as a way of watching anime. It is relevant to the people posting in this thread as well as the topic at hand. Do you pay for and buy all the anime you watch..?

No I don't. I get merchandise. I'm not arguing the pros or cons, I'm asking why he does it? His signature is a very clear sign he's heavily invested in promoting streaming services.

I'll drop the subject now.

Yeah, I've noticed that he's been promoting WA, Netflix and CR a lot on this forums. Oh, he's well known for being so hateful towards self-confessed pirates.

He has a point though, most people here talk about the anime/manga itself not how we go about acquiring it. We know about Crunchyroll, Netflix, Funimation, Animax etc. just like we know about torrents, newsgroups, IRC, DDLs etc. but we don't go on about it. We know about the whole piracy thing.

I don't particularly mind when Chevron does it but I can see why it would make him stand out and why someone would feel the need to call him out on it.

Not all of us know. I didn't always know about crunchyroll and iirc it was chevrons posting that alerted me to it. As for the article I believe it's worth posting. Nothing wrong with that.

Maybe I just haven't been as sensitive to his posting as everyone else but it hadn't appeared to be excessive to me at least.
