You shut your dirty wh*re mouth! :D :D :D

Joke aside, most anime nowadays are not original content.

Oh sure. Japanese anime and manga writers just copy what works, and run with that. Still....

Haruhi Suzumiya was good.
Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru is pretty original. The dialog is pretty good.
GoSick was pretty original in a Sherlock Holmes sort of way. Dantalian no Shoka is similar but with a supernatural twist. And they achieved interesting story lines without fanservice.
Sword Art Online II is pretty original.
Now I know SAO I and Log H are both loosely bask on the HACK series as inspiration.
And K-ON was also pretty original. I know it's moeblob but it's good moeblob. :)
GITS I and II had intriguing story lines.
The Monogatari anime series, especially first Season was pretty original and with excellent animation.
They should have focused much, much more on Senjougahara.

Leveup and go Ergo Proxy. After that there isn't anything on that level.

We going to possibly diverge here, when I refer to original content I mean anime that was produced purely as is without any dependency on other source material. What a relatively large amount of the anime was like in the 80's/90's. I've seen and enjoyed the anime you listed, but as far as I am aware all of those listed have preceding source material in the form of Manga, LN, VN, 4-panels, etc. Anime like the (mostly original) Gundam series, Mospeada, Macross, Cowboy Bepop, NGE, Ergo Proxy, Code Geass, Gurren Lagann, Kill la Kill, Psycho-Pass, and Aldnoah Zero on the other hand are all originals with no Manga or VN, etc, preceding it. Yes I like my Mecha/Space Opera.

Anyway not an argument, my Type Moon fanboyism still says Type Moon is best :D. By the way SAO came out before .Hack, the story was published before .Hack, the anime adaption only occurred like 10 years later.

GITS Movie 1 and 2 had their own psychological/philosophical vehicles, I would say its not really comparable to Ergo Proxy. Ergo Proxy trumped it in the mind**** department, only anime that comes to mind off hand in terms of a mind**** relating to the story line and plot is Divergence Eve and the sequel, but good luck with the visuals and plot building :D.

Well it was clear as day that the 7th would be who it was.

I was very happy with how they closed out all the relationships and showed the future ninja generation. The more things change the more they stay the same :)

As to the series for next year...hmmm. It will apparently focus on the new generation of ninja. Not holding my breath on this one.

Ye of course it was always going to be clear. I just feel like that final moment where he lifts his head and pulls the hat, is drawn like some kind of big reveal, but is completely nullified by the few pages earlier in the chapter. It just didn't feel thought out. The rest of it was great though.

Started watching Bleach last month and just finished it yesterday. Stopped reading Naruto manga a few weeks ago.

Which other action shonen anime is worth watching ?

I found Fairy Tale and One Piece on the boring side.

Anything that is Type Moon and produced by ufotable is best.

That was a strange ending :/

Good show.

Leveup and go Ergo Proxy. After that there isn't anything on that level.

I've never come across anything quite as boring and annoying as Ergo Proxy. Seems like a show only a fedora tipping autist clad in black leather could enjoy.

Too much
"Why am I here"
"What am I"
"What do I do"
"Why do I exist"
"Why am I not dead"
"Where is Re-l"

Is asking the same retarded questions over and over throughout the series in the most pathetic voice supposed to invoke some sort enlightenment?

Hmmm, maybe re-watch chuuni sometime. Damn that repeating gif, now I got some dust in my eyes.

So between 3 to 7 hours a day over a course of a month. Sugoi, we have what looks like a bonafide NEET :D.

I was on leave for 14 days last month. Plus after leave I cut down on nap time. Sleep less watch more anime.

So started Psycho Pass and I'm quite impressed. Surprised I didn't come across this sooner.

I hope you started with season 1 or have already watched it, and not the current season.

Netflix only has the first season so that's what I'm watching.

Which is great as I only start a season once it's done. Can't stand waiting weekly.
